yes, no foods are going to make you grow taller than what your geeitncs have planned for you. Your diet will determine how close to those plans you get.You are only 11 and 5’5. This is a good height at your age, even though you are shorter than everyone. Take it easy, you are still growing, and you can grow for another 10 years or so. I had a friend that grew 3 inches after high school was over!To maximize your genetic potential, you have to eat GOOD foods!1. dont drink pop often. Limit yourself to 3 a week. You might not know this, but pop are the new cigarettes. It seems as though its ok to drink pop. Schools have pop machines at schools. People will say its ok to drink pop, just not alot. In all actuality, pop causes your body to think that you are putting food in the stomach. It thinks it has vitamins and minerals to digest, but really all it has is sugar. The sugar spikes your insulin levels and makes your hormones go out of balance. You really need your hormones at top level to grow big and strong!! Growth hormone and testosterone are both important hormones for growth, you dont want all that sugar getting in the way of your growth?2. Eat a good amount of protein. Eat chicken breast, fish, and lean red meat (steak). Eat alot of fresh veggies, good carbs like potatoes, bread, whole wheat pasta. 3. Dont eat fast food!!! Fast food contains alot of preservatives and salt. Just like sugar, it messes with your hormones. God only knows what they put into that food!4. Drink lots of water5. Take a multivitamin. Get a good multivitamin at GNC.6. Dont let yourself get too hungry often. when you go without food for long periods of time, your body is not getting the nutrients it needs to grow! Eat often, but not too much. 7. Exercise!!! You need to go out and play, run, whatever it takes to get your blood flowing. when your blood is flowing good, your whole body is getting nutrients from the foods you eat. Good blood flow will help you grow better.8. Get alot of good sleep! Dont skip out on sleep. Growth hormone is responsible for growing tall. Growth hormone is released mostly during deep sleep. Make sure you get atleast 7 to 8 hours a night, if not more!!your diet and sleep are the most important ones. Dont eat processed foods or canned foods much. They hurt your body. When you get older, you will realize how important food really is!and by the way, i was about 5’4 or 5’5 at your age, and now im 6’6 and 270lbs of muscle at age 23. theres always hope!
